It seems you & I differ :) Yes, MoT is very long, but it's worth it, & gets readers by the consistently high quality of research, thought & analysis on display. I don't read posts that long for a laugh! I do it because I find them informative.

& I think Bob Piper is very funny, but YMMV. I myself don't blog at all, I just sod round bitchin' about everyone else :D

Ministry of Truth: WAY too long-winded. I want to read blogs, not essays.

Letters from a Tory: I've sampled every now and then, and can never get in to.

Bob Piper: Tribal and boring. At least Sadie is (a bit) tribal and funny.

You are (obviously, as if this needs to be said) correct in nominating A. Mortimer, but to be honest you should get around the blogosphere a bit more if you think Sadie Smith is the best non-LD blog. I can think of some across the parties from the top of my head: Ministry Of Truth, Letters From A Tory, Bob Piper... etc.

Hmmm... I think I know Sadie Smith...

Friend of my boss if I'm correct. She always made my blood boil when the inevitable politics discussion came up...

Of course, it could be a different Sadie who worked for a Labour MP who looks a bit like that.
