Will the Henley by-election ever be held? The Times is reporting it could all depend on the outcome of today’s vote in Crewe and Nantwich. If they win, the Tories will seek to capitalise on their momentum, if they lose, they’ll hold off until after the summer recess.
The writ won’t be moved because of, you know, Boris’s pledge to stand down from his Henley seat or any sense of obligation to the people of the South Oxfordshire. So that’s alright then.
2 weeks, 3 days, 19 hours and 50 minutes since Boris became Mayor of London and the by-election tango continues…
